Okendo Series Part 3: How Mr Pool Man Uses Okendo To Make a Splash With Google Reviews

Mr Pool Man is an industry leader in online sales of pool equipment in Australia. Embodying a laid back Aussie attitude, Mr Pool Man are a family-run business that are making waves with Australian pool owners.

We saw a great opportunity to generate more Google reviews for Mr Pool Man using the Okendo x Klaviyo integration. As different customers visit different sites to view a brands reviews, this will help Mr Pool Man improve their review rating on multiple platforms at once. 

To accomplish this, we leveraged Okendo’s Klaviyo integration to build an email which triggers after customers leave a positive Okendo review (>3 stars) and ask if they can leave the same review on Google My Business. By filtering out customers that leave negative reviews we can avoid negative customer experiences spilling over onto multiple platforms.

By dynamically showcasing the review the customer just left and offering them a direct link to Mr Pool Man’s Google review section — we made the process extremely simple for customers to complete.
