About the Role

The Graphic Designer creates high-quality visual assets for email, SMS, and customer journey experiences, ensuring all creative outputs are on-brand, conversion-focused, and technically optimized for Klaviyo. This role collaborates closely with CSMs, Copywriters, Digital Producers, and Strategists to translate briefs into polished visuals that enhance performance, maintain brand consistency, and support overall campaign success.

Responsibilities

Creative Execution & Visual Asset Development

  • Design email assets including banners, hero images, product features, headers, icons, CTAs, and GIFs.
  • Create modular templates and reusable components aligned with client brand guidelines.
  • Build email layouts in Klaviyo using approved Figma assets (no advanced coding required).
  • Produce clear, high-impact visuals that enhance messaging and drive engagement.

Brand Consistency, QA & Technical Optimization

  • Maintain accuracy and consistency with client brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
  • Ensure designs render correctly across dark mode, mobile, desktop, Outlook, and different devices.
  • Optimize images for load speed, visual clarity, and deliverability best practices.
  • Review creative for accessibility, layout logic, spacing, and overall visual quality before production.
  • Provide Digital Producers with clear guidance on asset usage, file formats, and visual intent.

Collaboration, Feedback & Workflow Management

  • Work closely with Copywriters to bring concepts to life and strengthen visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Digital Producers to ensure designs translate smoothly into the email builder.
  • Partner with CSMs and Strategists to refine layouts, improve hierarchy, and support testing initiatives.
  • Manage tasks through Asana, communicating proactively about timelines, blockers, or needed assets.
  • Participate in creative reviews and support continuous improvement through experimentation and new design approaches.

Systems, AI & Process Thinking

  • Use AI tools to support ideation, exploration, and iteration while maintaining strong brand and design standards.
  • Leverage AI to assist with asset variations, layout exploration, and efficiency in execution.
  • Get hands-on with design tools and platforms to support delivery needs and collaboration with production.
  • Maintain Asana as the single source of truth for design tasks, feedback, and approvals.
  • Follow established SOPs while helping refine creative workflows as Andzen scales.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing agency.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of email design best practices, including mobile-first layout and dark mode.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across assets.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo and how designs translate into email builders.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
