The second season of record-breaking music talent show The Voice is now in full swing, with blind auditions wrapping up last night on Channel 9.
Consisting of Seal, Joel Madden, Ricky Martin and Delta Goodrem, The Voice’s panel of coaches has sold more than 100 million albums collectively.
With truly international followings, the task of communicating with fans is challenging for these music megastars.
Each coach has adapted in their own way not only to stardom but also to the explosive growth of digital media currently taking place around the world.
Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is well known for his activity on Tumblr, with almost two million fans having already visited his popular blog LOSMADDEN.
Ricky Martin is one of music’s most active Twitter users, Tweeting up to five times a day to his 8.5 million followers.
Seal has gone a step further with his digital strategy, choosing to engage the team at Sign-Up.to to help look after his online presence.
Seal said for him it was imperative to have a digital and social media team that understood the landscape and were contactable 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“With the team at Sign-Up.to, that’s exactly what I’ve got,” he said.
“Not only have Sign-Up.to maximised my social reach, they have guided me through an incredibly quickly evolving field.”
“They are colleagues, educators and friends.”
Managing Director of Sign-Up.to Australia Brenden Rawson said the company was founded to help businesses get the most out of the many online marketing channels available today.
“Working with Seal and the hundreds of thousands of fans who follow him online is a real privilege, and a great example of the benefits of having an integrated strategy across channels like Twitter, Facebook and email,” Brenden said.
As well as digital strategy and management, Sign-Up.to offers a web-based platform that enables businesses, from small local business to global superstars, to manage their own email, social and SMS marketing activities from the one place.
The team at Sign-Up.to would like to wish Seal all the very best for The Voice Australia 2013!
