Founded in 2011, SABO is a leading Australian fashion brand known for its contemporary designs and streamlined online experience. THE GOAL

SABO Skirt partnered with Andzen and Okendo to design and implement a high-performing loyalty program that has already delivered strong early results. The initiative — branded “SABO Resort” — has contributed to improved customer retention, increased average order value (AOV), and a more engaging brand experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

While SABO already enjoyed strong customer engagement and repeat purchases, the brand saw an opportunity to deepen long-term loyalty and increase retention through a more strategic, structured rewards system. The goal was to boost purchases while expanding engagement through reviews, social sharing, and richer brand interactions.

To stand out in a competitive market, SABO needed a loyalty solution that went beyond traditional points-based rewards. The ideal program would deliver ongoing value, reinforce brand affinity, and create a stronger sense of customer belonging.

THE STRATEGY

To meet this objective, SABO collaborated with Andzen and Okendo to develop a bespoke loyalty framework: SABO Resort Program. Drawing inspiration from the concept of a Greek island retreat, the program was structured around a tiered reward model designed to provide a sense of progression, exclusivity, and personal recognition. The strategy focused on three core areas.

A Tiered Program Designed for Long-Term Value

Our loyalty system is structured to reward both frequent and occasional customers through a simple, tier-based model. Annual spend determines your tier:

  • Weekender ($0–$200 AUD): 2 points per $1 spent
  • Member ($200–$400 AUD): 2 points per $1 spent
  • Resident ($400–$600+ AUD): 3 points per $1 spent
  • Secret (Invite Only): Enhanced rewards and access

While the ‘Secret’ Tier is not publicly available, its exclusivity encourages ongoing engagement from high-value customers and adds a halo effect to the broader program.

Earn Points Beyond Purchases

Loyalty is more than just purchases. You can earn points by engaging with our community and contributing feedback:

  • Create an account: 300 points ($3 AUD value)
  • Submit a text review: 300 points
  • Submit a photo review: 400 points
  • Submit a video review: 500 points
  • Follow us on Instagram or Facebook: 200 points
  • Celebrate your birthday: 200 points

These interactions create additional digital entry points across channels, helping SABO stay top-of-mind while building a richer, more connected customer profile over time.
